Superfood and process
A process for proven quality
We work together with our beekeepers to place the hives in wild and remote locations in the mountains and forests of Chilean Patagonia, far away from the presence of herbicides and pesticides in the environment and surrounded by native trees and plants that produce a unique honey.
We have a strict quality testing process at the time of receiving honey from our suppliers, which includes traceability control as well as antibiotics, sugars, pollen, moisture content, flavor and color analysis. We carefully select the most premium honey that meets all standards to be microbiologically tested for APF certification.
The selected honey is analyzed under APF methodology in the microbiological laboratory of the Universidad Católica de Chile. The University issues the APF Certificacion according to the antibacterial activity level and the native origin of each tested honey.
